Schumacher after Sainz contract extension: 'My chances will come'

Prior to the weekend at Imola, it was announced by Ferrari that Carlos Sainz has extended his contract through 2024. For Mick Schumacher this means less good news, because the protégé also hopes for a seat at the main force from Maranello. He himself is calm under the news that Sainz will still defend the red colors for the next two years.

Schumacher responds sportingly

Schumacher probably hadn’t considered a switch to Ferrari in 2023 either. The German driver is only in his second season in the premier class of motorsport and, for the time being, has to contend with the returning Kevin Magnussen.
